Domino's Pizza is a great place to franchise. We want our franchisees to be successful, and we provide a strong support network to help build and grow your business for years to come. We also have a lower cost of entry than most quick service restaurants - a competitive advantage to attracting motivated people.

Our business has been built with a simple, easy-to-learn operating model. Our store floor plans are compact and minimal to promote operational ease. We're there to help you learn Domino's proven methods of opening and operating pizza stores.

Awards, Recognition & Great Culture

Domino's Pizza, Inc. recognizes exceptional people and outstanding performance. In 2003, more than 4,000 Domino's franchisees, corporate and store team members attended the Worldwide Rally to get All Revved Up with company Chairman and CEO David A. Brandon.

Domino's delivers educational seminars, best practice round tables, a worldwide awards ceremony and many opportunities for camaraderie during the multi-day, bi-annual event. In the opposite years, our company's top operators and owners are brought in to receive accolades in front of the World Resource Center's team members in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Advertising & Marketing

The Build the Brand Team drives advertising and promotions that appear on national television. The leadership of the division works closely with a franchisee advisory board on concepts that help portray our high-quality products and status as the recognized world leader in pizza delivery. The team also builds the new product pipeline which includes new pizza and side item concepts that are tested, and if successful, rolled out as a national product launch.

Domino's also provides the opportunity for each local market to pool funds and optimize local marketing opportunities between national advertising windows. Domino's Pizza has contracted with a national advertising firm to help these local franchise groups effectively market their area.

Public Relations

As part of the company's Corporate Communications team, Domino's public relations support is an added amenity of becoming a franchisee. Franchisees can utilize the public relations coordinator to work on local press releases for grand openings, community events, awards and more.

The company also has designated spokespeople who can handle media inquiries and provide crisis communication counsel if needed.

Succeeding Together

Every Domino's franchisee is assigned to a franchise regional manager (FRM). This person serves as a liaison between the company, and provides operational, business and local store marketing consultation to the franchisee. This partnership assists franchisees with preparation for on-site visits and inspections.

The company's evaluators, responsible for maintaining our high standards evaluate every store twice a year and provide ratings on a 5-Star system. FRMs will advise franchisees and store general managers on tactics to improve store operations and evaluation scores.

Distribution and Equipment & Supply

Domino's provides product sourcing from our Distribution business and equipment packages from Equipment & Supply. Through efficiencies in freight and product purchasing, Domino's franchisees share in the success of our Distribution business through profit sharing.

The Distribution division works closely with a franchisee advisory board to maintain strong relationships and to create innovative, money-saving programs.

Store Development Services

The Store Development Team works with a proven formula to award an exclusive delivery & service territory in which to locate a Domino's Pizza store. This area is created to maximize our ability to safely deliver a hot, fresh order to the customers' door in a timely manner. Each franchisee is assigned a director of development. This resource assists with review and approval of the site and lease or other documents for occupancy prior to the store opening. You will also have support with each new store construction project and receive franchising, development and construction consulting.

Learning & Development

Before you open your first store, the Learning & Development team offers training programs for you to participate in. The standard program includes six weeks in store training and one week at Domino's World Resource Center.

As a guide for essential store operations and product preparation, every store receives a core supply of job aid materials. To prepare you and your store team members for a new product rollout, you will receive extensive training materials.

In addition, the Domino's Pizza Learning and Development Team has created materials to help you train your managers, assistant managers and other Team Members on the basics of working in and running a Domino's Pizza store.
