Clutch & Brake Doctors franchise information

Clutch & Brake Doctors opened its first store in the fall of 1995 in Portland, Oregon. Within weeks a second store opened, and then other stores soon opened in Oregon and Washington. Today there are Clutch & Brake Doctors franchises throughout the Pacific Northwest, and the concept is expanding into California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Idaho.

Jeff Nootenboom, who was convinced that there was a better way to do business in auto repair that offered more fun, lower prices, and better quality, founded Clutch & Brake Doctors. By specializing in repairing clutches and brakes, Clutch & Brake Doctors was able to focus on efficiency, which lowered prices to the customers.

Technicians were able to solve clutch and brake problems so fast, veteran competitors started sending their business to us. Customers also got their cars back in half the time, which made everybody very happy. Soon Clutch & Brake Doctors was recognized as one of Oregon's fastest growing private companies.
