Dunkin’ Donuts, a coffee and baked goods chain, has announced that Peoria and Bloomington, Illinois are now open for franchise sales. The food chain plans to open more than eight new restaurants in these areas over the next several years.
The company’s plans call for selling of franchises in Peoria County as well as the surrounding counties of Tazewell, McLean, Putnam, Stark, Marshall, Woodford, Livingston, Fulton and Mason.
The chain’s Peoria and Bloomington launch is part of a strategic expansion plan, which includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities throughout the country.
Lynette McKee, certified franchise executive and vice president of franchising at Dunkin’ Brands, said: “To fulfill our national expansion goals, Dunkin’ Donuts is looking for developers with a strong organization and the ability to manage multiple restaurants effectively and successfully in the Peoria and Bloomington markets. We also look for prior restaurant operations and real estate development experience.”
