Franchise Compensation Report To Be Released in December

Franchise executives will soon start their 2009 budget planning with more information than previous years thanks to a groundbreaking report on executive compensation and job functions to be released by FRANdata.

“This report will mark the first time franchise executive compensation information has ever been available, and will help brands better understand one of their most significant expense items,” explained FRANdata CEO Darrell Johnson.

The report will compare executive and staff compensation levels across franchise brands that are similar in age, size, industry, and geography. Franchise-specific job functions surveyed will include development, training, site selection, marketing, legal, and franchisee support roles. Finally, the report will also provide insights into staffing levels, budgets, outsourcing and staffing turnover.

The Arlington, Va.-based company that tracks and analyzes the franchise industry will release “Franchise Compensation Report for 2009” just in time for corporate year-end planning and budgeting. The survey will be available for purchase online at www.frandata.com, and will cost $350.00 for those companies that participated in the survey and $1150.00 for those that did not. Franchise systems wishing to participate in the survey can complete the questionnaire available online at http://www.frandata.com/compsurvey.asp. Completed questionnaires will be accepted through October 20.

The compensation survey is being performed by FRANdata in partnership with AKRON Inc., a data analytics and survey services firm specializing in compensation and benefits surveys.
