Dinner by Design Continues Expansion in Indiana

Dinner by Design, the largest meal
company in the Midwest, today unveiled plans to continue its expansion in
Indiana.

According to Dinner by Design President and CEO John Matthews, the
company is further expanding in Indiana based on its strong brand awareness
and established distribution and support systems.

In addition, Dinner by Design’s ability to bring busy families back to
the dinner table with healthy, delicious dinners is well matched with the
demographics in many Indiana communities.

“Further expansion in Indiana and the Midwest will first and foremost
increase customer convenience, while significantly benefiting Dinner by
Design franchisees by providing more opportunity for meaningful co-op
marketing and promotional efforts in the region,” said Matthews.

Dinner by Design has identified more than 20 new and exclusive
franchise territories in Indiana including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South
Bend, Evansville, Bloomington and Terre Haute. “We expect these new
territories will be reserved quickly,” added Matthews.

In related news, the company recently announced expansion in Illinois,
Wisconsin, Southeastern Michigan, St. Louis, Missouri and Iowa.

Dinner by Design focuses on the company’s quality of food, operational
excellence, customer satisfaction and value added benefits to customers
including corporate and group delivery. In fact, Dinner by Design was named
“Best Food” among all meal assembly companies in a comparison study by
Indianapolis Monthly Magazine.

In terms of business ownership, Dinner by Design offers an attractive
franchise package including exclusive territories, site selection
assistance as well as start up, training and marketing support, innovative
technology solutions and menu development. “Because Dinner by Design is a
Midwest based company, we can best serve franchisees with strengths in
branding, local store marketing advertising; supporting infrastructure; and
food distribution synergies, clear points of differentiation,” said
Matthews.

Dinner by Design currently has nearly 60 locations opened, and
agreements for another 40 kitchens in the U.S. and Canada. Industry
observers predict the concept of meal prep outside the home is at the same
stage that trendy coffee chains were at 15 years ago. The Business Times
Daily called Dinner by Design “one of the hottest new retail franchise
sensations sweeping the nation” and Entrepreneur Magazine named Dinner by
Design and this market segment one of the “Hot 29 Businesses to start.”
