Restaurant supplier to expand in Alabama
Florida-based FiltaFry said it will add two territory operators in Birmingham by the end of 2008 and will target Mobile and Montgomery for expansion.
The company is a mobile franchise that specializes in filtration and cleaning of deep fryers in restaurants and commercial kitchens.
FiltaFry said its expansion in Alabama comes on the heels of the success of Decatur franchisee Allen Stanfield and the addition of customers such as Burger King, Denny’s and IHOP.
Since its inception in 2002, the company has grown to more than 140 franchise locations in more than 40 states. Customers have grown to include thousands of hotels, restaurants, bars, airports, hospitals, schools, sports stadiums and casinos across the country, according to a news release.
It plans to add 50 franchises by the end of 2008, working toward its long-term goal of 1,000 franchisees nationwide.
