Mama Mimi's welcomed fellow take-and-bake pizza merchant Papa Murphy's to town with open arms in 2003.

But that was then.

Now, Mama Mimi's owners Jeff and Jodi Aufdencamp are ready to begin franchising their seven-year-old take-and-bake operation with plans for up to 12 additional shops in Central Ohio in the next year.

“Having a big player come into the market gave credibility to the concept,” Jodi Aufdencamp said. “Now we want to give them a run for their money.”
