All you out there with entrepreneur minds who are looking to start a business… do you really think that's the best idea? Wouldn't you rather put your money into something that you know is going to be successful? In my search to know whether I would want to start a business or buy a franchise, I realized it is much safer to buy a franchise.
When one buys a franchise he or she is set up for success. Franchises already have their name out their. One does not have to spend a ton of money on advertising, it is taken care of. Another reason why franchises are more successful is because a franchise has more credibility.
Another reason to buy a franchise is that one has tons of support! The Franchisor wants his or her franchisee to succeed because when the franchisee succeeds, so does the franchisor. To make sure the franchisee is prepared, the franchisor provides training. There is also administrative and/or technical support provided.
Another reason why buying a franchise is better is that you have support from other franchisees. If a franchisee puts on some sort of event in another town, another franchisee in another town will most likely reap some of those benefits as well.
If one was to start a business, he or she will have to compete with the franchises around you. You will have a lot of competition considering franchises have more resources for advertising and marketing. Another factor to think about is that one will have to find quite a few people to help. Who is going to run advertising? Who will help with campaigning and so forth? Buying a franchise seems to be a little less work.
