John M. Cunningham, Jr. President of VTS Franchising, LLC has announced the VTS franchise program. 'We are pleased to be the first and only company in the AVL industry to offer a franchise opportunity.' stated Cunningham.' The AVL industry is growing rapidly as more and more companies seek to manage the productivity of their fleet vehicles. Being able to offer individuals a VTS franchise will enable the company to tap into this large market.”

The VTS program consists of GPS units intalled in trucks, limos and other vehicles. VTS proprietary software provides various reports to clients ranging from vehicle location to operating data. Its been estimated that only 7% of the current 20 million fleet vehicles utilize AVL systems. Its estimated that the AVL industry will grow to 17 million subscribers generating $2.5 billion by 2010.

VTS has been in business since 2002 and serves 600 client with 8,000 vehicles.
