Turning Point Urban Business Expo, June 22, 2007 – Los Angeles Convention Center

On Friday, June 22, 2007, the Los Angeles Convention Center will play host to the Turning Point URBAN Business Expo from 10AM to 3 PM at the West Hall, Rooms 408A/B. The event will be FREE to the Public where attendees will be able to meet with over 50 of America’s top corporations, government agencies, franchises and other small businesses, attend helpful business seminars, chances for prizes and giveaways, a chance for attendees to participate in “15 Minutes of Business Fame”… and more!

Councilwoman Jan Perry, 9th district Los Angeles is Honorary Chairperson with Special Guest John Chiang, State Controller of California will be on hand at 10:00 AM to open the ceremony with Pat Means, Publisher of Turning Point Urban Magazine.

Turning Point URBAN Business Expo provides on site solutions to the issues that confront diverse urban small businesses – from access to capital, new business acquisition, to operational excellence. This is the perfect opportunity for attendees to exchange business cards, distribute light marketing materials, talk to and interact with corporations, small businesses, attendees and anyone who attends.

From 10:30 to 3:30 PM, Turning Point Business Urban Expo will hold their original “Your 15 Minutes of Business Fame” – hosted by Los Angeles radio station KDAY 93.5 FM. This event gives attendees a stage to give their “best” 15-minute elevator pitch to the Expo audience. Attendees who sign up bring marketing materials, pass out information, etc., and pitch, pitch, pitch their businesses — in 15 minutes — any creative way they like! There’s a “pitch” every 15 minutes and attendees are encouraged to sign up NOW – for these limited slots go SUPER fast before June 22nd!
