Comfort Keepers Opens New Office in Anaheim
March 13, 2007 - Anaheim, CA – Comfort Keepers® Franchising Inc. (CKFI) announced today the opening of an office in Anaheim, Calif. The company has signed a franchise agreement with Edwin and Lolita Cruz and Aurthur and Liza Virgo.
Comfort Keepers provides in-home companion care on an hourly, daily or weekly basis with services tailored to the individual needs of each client. Care duties include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, transportation for errands and appointments, laundry, recreational activities and more.
With the significant number of seniors living in the Anaheim area, many families are facing the overwhelming responsibility of caring for aging loved ones.
“We consider ourselves fortunate to work with an organization that has seniors’ best interest at heart,” said Lolita Cruz. “We want to be a resource that Anaheim seniors and their families can call as they face issues associated with aging or aging parents.”
Individuals in the Anaheim area who are attempting to balance the needs of aging loved ones with their own busy lives need options. It is particularly challenging when the seniors are in relatively good health and desperately want to continue living at home. Many family caregivers simply cannot be there often enough to attend to their loved ones’ daily needs.
“We experienced this need within our own families. It is one of the reasons this business was attractive to us,,” said Lolita Cruz. “We look forward to continuing the Comfort Keepers mission of improving our clients’ quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.”
Comfort Keepers is currently expanding into six states across the country and looks to expand into more states in the coming months.
